Geelong, Bellarine and the Surf Coast have always been a boating mecca. For the fisher folk, there are angling options including lakes, estuaries and bays, and offshore the region boasts some of the best fishing action in the country. We have sizeable wake and ski clubs with ever-growing interest in this field. We also have some of the best and most awarded yachting clubs and facilities in the country.
Given the concentrated volume of fibreglass boats, it was clear there was a need for a highly professional fibreglass repair service in the region. Somewhere you could take your boat and have a friendly, dedicated staff that would listen to you and work through the vessel’s problems; somewhere that you could feel comfortable leaving your pride and joy.
There are several options for fibreglass boat repairs in the area, however none of them specifically target the trailer boat brigade. Although Aquatek does undertake some boat works in the local marinas, most of our work is done on site, in the factory at 242 Portarlington Road in Moolap, Geelong.
In 2022 we dropped the word Marine from our name, the reasons are simple, we now provide many more services outside the marine industry. The business name Aquatek Marine was no longer a true reflection of the services we offer. The fibreglass and electrical components of the business have expanded into other industries, these included the Civil and Leisure (caravans and motorhome) categories.

We also deal with recognised suppliers who stand behind their products, just as we stand behind our workmanship.
While your boat is with us, it is under 24-hour video surveillance which is backed up online. Our site is also guarded by a back-to-base alarm that alerts us to any suspicious activity.
